Position: Administrative Assistant (Part Time Hourly Independent Contract)

Summary of Position:
The Administrative Assistant is a contracted position and will be responsible for regular upkeep of CCAC activities. Working under the direction of the President and Board of Directors, the Administrative Assistant will assist with membership drives, database records, grant writing, press releases and media information for events, and assistance in the coordination of annual events.
Keep website updated including events calendar
Recruit members and assist with annual membership renewal
Assist with grant writing and reporting for UAC, RAP TAX and other grants
Create Press Releases
Supervise newspaper/radio advertising
Assist in coordination of annual events such as:
Assist with Networking Socials
Promote area arts through social media
Assist with membership data base
Assist with preparation of monthly newsletters
Other duties as needed
Good organizational skills
Works well independently.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Strong written, verbal and presentational skills
Ability to work under time pressures and meet deadlines
Schedule: The Administrative Assistant is a part time hourly position that will require up to 5 to 10 hours per week averaged over the year. Some evening and weekend commitments will be needed for meetings or events. This position is highly flexible and the time commitment will vary throughout the year. The ability to work independently without supervision is essential.
